Morgan Matson didn t write a book She wrote a movie.Truly, this content belongs on a huge Hollywood screen I can easily picture myself laughing out loud at this wedding fiasco at the movie theatre. It s definitely unrealistic The thing is, I don t at all mind producers stretching reality thin, but when authors do that in my contemporary reads, I get annoyed.Fortunately, it is not all unrealistic The characters very much feel real and the family drama entertained me But although it s a humorous st [...]

I loved this SO much and I am very emotional I think it might ve knocked Amy Roger from my 2 spot of favorite MM books.I won t really talk in depth about much to spare anyone the waiting but I LOVED the characters, the big family, and all the hijinks SO MUCH GOOD STUFF.Will probably reread and do a video review closer to when the book releases in June.

Save the Date is absolutely wonderful it s funny and touching and just wonderful I love the focus on thr Grant family, and it was really cool to see the dynamic among the family as a whole unit as well as in smaller groupings And all the wedding hijinks are amazing Full review to come Pre review I can t make this stupid gif load correctly, but to quote Tom Haverford This is America I want it now

Beautiful One of my favorite contemporaries in recent memory This is Morgan Matson s best.I LOVED the crazy Grant family Their dialogue and personalities are unmatched I would have wanted a bit depth from the parents or interaction between them and a few of the kids, but I love every bit of what this family represents their very real struggles and conflicts.Although I definitely favor Charlie, J.J is the real MVPEASE read this fun, hilarious new book as soon as possible.

Aw, so good I loved the Grant family so much Charlie was tough because she was stuck in her ways and definitely clueless about some things There were a lot of tiny things that bothered me like how obvious certain things were to the reader but not the family, the sheer volume of things that went wrong beyond a reasonable amount, or incorrect things about Connecticut haha but obviously those issues will fade over time My lasting memory of this book will be perfect and the family will be one of my [...]

I received a copy of this book via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review Thank you I think this confirms it Morgan Matson is my favourite contemporary author I have thoroughly enjoyed all of her books and this one is no exception From here on out I m going to refer to Save The Date as Save The Date because you know, acronyms.Family is the most important thing to me, so I get why I connected so much to Charlie, Save the Date s main character Save the Date really focuses on family but there i [...]

I received this free eARC novel from Edelweiss in exchange for my honest review Charlie, being the youngest of her 4 siblings, is so excited for her older sister s wedding because that means she gets to see EVERYONE in the same house for the first time since forever And it s a good thing, too, because her parents have just sold their amazing house for something smaller since Charlie is going to college next year But the upcoming weekend is going to be busy with no only the wedding but also the i [...]

I adored this book Morgan Matson is the queen of YA contemporary she writes my favorite kind of stories about family and romance and friendship Charlie and the Grants experience the ups and downs of the chaotic wedding weekend together with Bill, the cute wedding planning assistant by their side , and I couldn t have enjoyed their story SAVE THE DATE is a wonderful story that is chaotic, fun, and ultimately heartwarming.

    19. Kaitie Leary on said:

Some of Matson s best work The chemistry between Charlie and her siblings, the laugh out loud funny moments, and the focus on the importance of family relationships make this an amazing read Any fan of Morgan Matson will be delighted by the story I was given an advanced copy by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I award this book 3.5 stars.First, I want to say I love Morgan Matson, and I totally fell head over heels for The Unexpected Everything, so my expectations were high And I think my issues are largely personal, and this is just not my kind of book It was still entertaining though, and worthy of a read. This book revolves around a family that is chronicled in a comic strip The main character, Charlie, thinks her life and her family is perfect, but it becomes clear that her rose colored glasses cove [...]
