I really wanted to, and tried very hard to like this book I just couldn t get over the juvenile quality of its writing I honestly questioned at times if this book was even edited, as it was riddled with odd and redundant sentence structure If people nowadays think that this is gud riting let me just verify that those words are supposed to be misspelled incorrectly, in case you didn t catch my sarcasm then peeps, we need to have a MAJOR chat I couldn t handle how this book made me feel like a ni [...]

I have to admit I was sold on trying this book when I spotted it on Netgalley and it was compared as the second comer in the world made by The Night Circus Not by the same author but a spiritual sibling of it, deal with circus s, magic, and the endless history woven through all of those things.I m deeply curious about this book, the alluding lead up to the magic and Legend s Circus which tells its story only from the outside, unlike its parallel, and like most easy entry young adult books and I [...]

It was the kind of night where she could smell the moon, thick candle wax dancing with the salty scent of the ocean, full and glowing A world of isles perhaps on an ocean Two sisters and the promise of immense magicActually, I enjoyed these first six chapters quite a lot and now I have to get the whole book Good job

I loved this book, characters were easy to follow but I don t think it leaves you wanting , it s definitely cheesy, girl meets boy who she hates, then he becomes man of her dreams Don t think I will buy next book wait for it at library

I ve anticipated Caraval since the ARCs started to appear My tastes have been leaning towards darker, magical fantasy and the early reviews made it seem like this would fit right in I m still keeping this on my list of 2017 releases to pick up, but the first six chapters didn t blow me away I would rate them closer to a 3.5 stars This is mainly due to the writing style I m intrigued by the plot of this, but this sampler didn t go to far into that, so I can t speak to it s strengths and or weakn [...]
