Rating 3.95This was really interesting It was disturbing, creepy, gory and at times sent shivers down my spine And I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I read this book via a KINDLE Unlimited download As an aficionado and author of flash fictions, I ve written an anthology of 100 Flash Fictions, where most of the stories only have five sentences, I can truly appreciate the efforts Mr Pandza in compiling this collection This IS NOT the kind of book you can read by racing through it by any means The best way to appreciate reading this author s endeavor is to sit in a comfortable, quiet place Close your eyes, clear your mind with your mind clear, [...]

Horror needs tension, and you can t do tension with one simple sentence. There are several ways to do horror, so i ll speak of three ways, you have the realistic one try to make the unrealistic and supernatural a plausible threat in the real world , the gothic one emphasis on dream like atmosphere with heavy emphasis on the feelings and mental state of the characters and symbolism and the experimental one make it a disorienting, disjointed experience as if to simulate an actual nightmare I write [...]

It was fun Spookily entertaining fun Awesome idea of writing one sentence horror stories, that too of 242 non repetitive ones which shiver up your spine has been made possible here by the one and only Marko Enjoyed each and every one of it, especially loved the parts MonstersDemons and DoctorsHealth Unique creativity I must say And thanks a ton for the COOL monster drawing haha People who have even a bit of courage can go for this book, and I would recommend you to read it when you are a bit bor [...]

I wanted to like this, as I enjoyed Limbo by the same author, but I think this book proves that it is simply not possible to write good horror in one sentence Horror is one of the few genres that tends to work better in the form of short stories than novels, but at the same time it can t be too short You need a little time to build up suspense something that is over before it has begun simply can t be scary.

This book is exactly what it says on the cover, A collection of one sentence horror stories And it s pretty fun to read Sorta gruesome too Not for the faint of heart Some grossed me out, some made me laugh, and some made me wish there was to read But it was a cool, and quirky, book, and a pretty fun idea Like the description on says, Chill your bones with two hundred and forty two horror stories, one sentence at a time It sure chilled mine

So weird, dark, unexpected and a joy to read I won this book in a giveaway and the author wrote a lovely message inside the cover and included a drawing of a ghoul I can t wait to read all of his books I love this genre.

Unusual and in alot of cases very strangely structured Warped imaginational imagery abounds throughout these bizarre one sentence story prompts and are an adequate quick read Not for everyone due to oddity Creepy illustrations.

This was a brilliant, fun, quick and quirky read that was exactly as the title states I won a copy of the book from the author as part of the Giveaways program.

    18. Grace on said:

This book is not the most polished piece of writing I ve ever encountered It s crude and amateurish, with less than perfect grammar But that s what makes it effective, and convincing Most horror writing gets published by regular publishers, which means that the book saw an editor In most horror, it is evident that the author invented the story and wrote it down In this case, with the writing being so raw, it makes it seem as though all these micro stories really happened I believe the author I t [...]

I felt the warm, sensual touch of a tongue licking its way up my neck, which I might have enjoyed had it been attached to a person Some of these horror stories are down right scary I love the directness and quickness of the stories Great to show students how to word choice is important in writing.
