Do you like kittens Do you like magic Do you think kittens should have magical powers If the answer is yes to any of those three questions, then you will love Lumberjanes Vol 7 This is another wonderful addition to the Lumberjanes and follows along the same lines as the first 6 volumes The girls in Roanoke cabin are once again minding their own business when all of a sudden a mystical creature comes in to wreck havoc causing the girls to use their own unique skills to find a way to save themselv [...]

This again seemed a bit too easy and straightforward to me I loved the kittens and all their powers, it just seemed like it was the set up for the next part of the adventure I love the inclusion of Barney though Basically Barney, kittens, and plot and I would have been a very happy camper.

Story This was another fun volume I especially loved the cats and I m of a dog person , and the introduction of the Grand Lodge I hope they do with them in future volumes There isn t much in terms of the ongoing story, but it does build the world of the Lumberjanes out a bit I m hoping they continue to explore that Artwork All the artwork is good, but I like Carey Pietsch s Chapter 25 work better than Ayme Sotuyo s work It just feels polished to me

3 1 2 stars cute, fun, and entertaining, as Lumberjanes usually is Not my favorite, as this one didn t really focus on any of the characters and was basically just centered around one wacky, somewhat forgettable adventure Still an enjoyable graphic novel series I will continue to recommend

Read as single issues The Janes are back again, and they re bringing magical kitties with them That s basically all you need to know about this volume tbh, but there s some other stuff going on too that s worth mentioning. It s mostly the latter half of the story that has all of the developments the first two issues set up the conflict, and it s become your basic Lumberjanes fare something magical is going wrong, and the Roanoke Cabin are going to fix it or die trying But the second two issues ha [...]
