This book literally just propelled the reader through so much storyline In fact, in the animation, the storyline up until now was drawn out over 50 episodes But, in this one volume literally, it covered Krory Aleister Crowley becoming an exorcist, destroying Eliade and his home to leave with them it featured Allen, Lavi Rabi and Krory Crowley s train journey which only took a chapter in this volume in the anime it took an episode it featured Kanda and his team being attacked and Bell Boy Deesha [...]

I love the anime, filler and all, but it is a little surprising that this volume ends with material that took the anime 50 ish episodes to reach Filler is commmon when an anime is started before the source material is finished, and both D.Gray man incarnations are fun, so it s not something I m angry about, just taking note Overall, another solid installment.

Overall Rating B Synopsis The plot revolves around Allen Walker, an Exorcist, in the end of the 19th century Europe Allen is a member of the Dark Order, a group of Exorcists connected with the Vatican Their mission is to stop The Millennium Earl, an evil ghoul intending to cleanse the world by destroying all the humans in the manner of Noah s great flood In the first volume, we get some back story, learn that exorcists kick ass, have a clubhouse, and don t play well with others.D Gray man is wri [...]

The fifth volume in the D.Gray Man series wraps up the vampire sub plot, as well as starts the set up for the bigger arc revolving around the mysterious clan of Noah, and the deaths of the leaders in the Ministry.I surprisingly didn t care for the fifth volume in this series as much as liked the fourth I wasn t much of a fan of the vampire sub plot, anyway, so I wasn t really surprised when I didn t care much for the outcome There were, however, a few twist and turns I enjoyed throughout this vo [...]

Forgive me for giving a short review in fact, this is less a review and a series of gripes I had with this issue The fight with Arystar Krory is alright, but his name itself kind of irks me The book introduced Tyki Mikk, but didn t really DO anything substantial with him Allen and his team go to China to find General Cross, but they re just kind of THERE all of a sudden, with no real preface The fact that Allen s parasite arm is crumbling apart is mentioned, then seemingly ignored And, I still [...]

As many other eastern comics, this one follows an overall story that is published in chapters weekly, bi weekly, monthly, bi monthly or similar and so this is simply a continuation of the previous volume Much like how books like Oliver Twist was published back in the day. This volume features the end of the Vampire in the Castle arc and is leading up to the Japan arc of the story, closing to the end of the adaptation I ve seen years ago I m being awfully biased when I say this is an amazing volum [...]

D.Gray Man does not disappoint But, this volume with that annoying master Cross pisses me off Actually all the generals piss me off now They re suppose to 2nd or 3rd in the high chain of command, and theyknowthey are being targeted for the Innocence yet, do almost nothing to protect themselves Wtf guys, instead of joining together orat leastletting your followers know where you are Then at least 1 other exorcists and finders did not have to die so easily and shit 2 you guys wouldn t get captured [...]

I m reading this series too slow When you read it this slow even the in the last volume style updates at the beginning don t really do enough to catch you up Thankfully I begin to remember as I get further into the story This volume resolves the battle between Arystar, Eliade, Allen and Lavi It also features several exorcist deaths and a glimpse of just how bad things are going for the Black Order at this point One general is found, but he had no desire to return to H.Q and instead convinces t [...]

Allen starts to question the Black Ministry about the Clan of Noah and the reason he became an Exorcist With his left eye injured and incapable of detecting akuma, he has come to understand the constant fear of not knowing whether the person he is talking to is truly human Despite his confusion, Allen is sent on a mission to seek out his master, Cross, one of the Marshals of the Black Ministry, and find out why the akuma have suddenly started targeting leaders of the Ministry Indeed so many ques [...]

This volume was really cool because it showed Allen s inner darkness The depth of his curse from Mana I also think that this is the starting point for his fall into the darkness lurking within himself It also shows the weakness of the Akuma and the truth behind their souls Also Lavi is in it and he won over my heart in the previous volume.

Some manga have funny elements that ruin the emotional elements D Gray Man is not one of these Actually, it goes between humor and emotion perfectly It has my favorite way of doing that Krory is one of those genius characters that doesn t happen so often Gotta love that guy.Art is still spectacular Story is still spectacular And so on.

Another well well designed Manga by Katsuro Hoshino I have already seen the anime for this series so it is interesting to see how quickly the plot goes in the manga with no fillers, vice the anime which contains entire episodes of nonsense.

The end of the Crory arc introduction of Tyki Mikk Kanda s group finds General Theodore Allen s group ends up in China The beginning is slow, but things pick up with the appearance of Tyki Mikk Allen cheating at cards is always a good joke and Suman Dark.
